Digital Signage is a new media concept that is a multimedia professional audiovisual system that displays commercial, financial, and entertainment information through large screen terminal display devices in large shopping malls, supermarkets, hotel lobbies, restaurants, cinemas, and other public places where people gather. The characteristic of broadcasting advertising information to specific audiences in specific physical locations and time periods has enabled them to achieve advertising effects. Abroad, some people equate it with paper media, radio, television, and the internet, calling it the "fifth media".
With the continuous development of modern technology, the application of digital display technology will be ubiquitous. With the integration of network (3G/4G wireless network) and multimedia technology, it is widely used in finance, telecommunications, hospitals, shopping malls, supermarkets, hotels, public places and other fields to publish and process feedback information in a media manner, and interact with customers in a timely manner. It has the characteristics of scattered points and has high requirements for centralized management and maintenance. The application of Macronix 3G routers in digital signage has effectively solved this problem.
